21-year-old Fabiano Dakai who is charged with one count of murder appeared before High Court Judge , Justice Daniel Goundar today.
Dakai is alleged to have murdered a security officer in Navua on the 4th of last month.
The prosecution has informed court that they would like a psychiatric assessment of the accused.
The case has been adjourned to the 29th of next month for plea.
