National Federation Party Leader, Professor Biman Prasad says he is concerned that Minister for Economy, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum had called the People’s Alliance ‘Paapi’ which means sinner in the hindi language.

Sayed-Khaiyum had made the comments in parliament last week and then said that it was probably a Freudian slip.

Professor Prasad says the use of the word ‘Paapi’ is totally unacceptable.

People’s Alliance Leader, Sitiveni Rabuka says it just shows Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum’s age compared to Rabuka and Professor Prasad’s age.

Rabuka went on to say he is a sinner and is only saved by the grace of God.
