Principal suspended for alleged misuse of funds
The Principal of a prominent Boys High School in Suva has been suspended without pay and is under investigation for the alleged misuse of funds.

It is understood that this Principal is now under investigation by the Public Service Commission, who will then decide the next move.

The Vice Principal is now acting in his position.

Fijivillage has spoken to some officials linked to the school who confirm that the Principal was suspended without pay after they discovered that he was allegedly abusing the funds from the Trust Fund account.

The amount of money involved at this stage is not known.

The Principal remains suspended while the Chairman of the Board is currently out of the country and could not be reached for comment.

PSC has only said that this is a matter between the employer and the employee while the Education Ministry is yet to comment.
