Paradise Beverages has confirmed that the price of Bounty Rum and Fiji Bitter will increase from the 18th of this month.

General Manager, Michael Spencer says despite improved operational efficiencies over the past 24 months, the prices in their raw materials, packaging materials and freight, especially during COVID-19, have meant that they have had to slightly increase their pricing.

The reductions in excise duty announced in the 2020-2021 National Budget had resulted in the major drop in prices of alcohol.

Paradise Beverages says the new wholesale price of a carton of long neck is $45.02 and the new wholesale price of a carton of 750ml Bounty Overproof Premium Dark Rum is $530.67.

These prices will be different from the retail prices in supermarkets and shops.
