President, Ratu Wiliame Katonivere has reminded the national Under 20 football team to listen to the coaches and follow their instructions while representing Fiji.

The team presented their i-Tatau to the President at the State House this morning before they depart for the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Argentina.

While wishing the team well, Ratu Wiliame says he acknowledges the handwork and the preparation by the players and coaching staff for the tournament.

He says he can see that the players are physically and mentally prepared and adds he appreciates all they have done.

The President is urging players to play their hearts out for Fiji and whatever the outcome, they will always be team Fiji.

The 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup will be held in Argentina, with Fiji in Pool B alongside Slovakia, USA, and Ecuador.

Fiji will play their first match next Sunday against Slovakia.
