Ajay Prakash of Sakoca Road says he is worried about the safety of his children as his home is slowly falling apart from due to earth works currently being carried out less than a metre from his house.

He says he has been issued an eviction notice and has been given time until the 2nd of March to leave the property however, works have already begun.

Prakash says he understands the notice given to him, but he is not sure why they continue to work as he is still looking for a place to move to.

Prakash says he has made multiple calls to relevant authorities and the town councils.

The Ministry says they have just been made aware of the issue and are currently looking into it.
