Powerful earthquake in Indonesia kills at least 67, injures hundreds
Rescuers search for survivors at a collapsed building in Mamuju city in Indonesia.

At least 67 people have died after a 6.2 magnitude earthquake hit Indonesia's Sulawesi Island.

Disaster officials said they expected the number of deaths and injuries from the earthquake to increase as they received information from areas that had been cut off.

Rescuers have been hampered by power cuts and lack of a phone signal.

Rescuers are searching through the rubble of a partially-collapsed Indonesian hospital

Video footage on social media showed collapsed houses and a girl pinned under rubble calling for help.
