The Fiji Electricity Authority has confirmed that power supply will be fully restored in affected areas by next week.
FEA Chief Executive Officer, Hasmukh Patel says areas that are still affected are Rakiraki, Tavua, Nadarivatu, Ba, Lautoka, Nadi, Sigatoka, Korolevu, Navua, Korovou and Nausori.
Patel says their teams will continue with repair and restoration of power supply to the affected areas and there are still many places which are still not accessible due to washed access, eroded river banks and crossings and silt deposits.
