Police say a post mortem examination will be conducted to ascertain the cause of death of 33-year-old Shiu Chand who was found washed ashore along Tacilevu Beach in Savusavu yesterday.
Chand of Vatuwiri Estate was reported missing after he failed to return home after a fishing trip.
A search party consisting of police officers, members of the community and divers from Paradise Divers were deployed and were searching areas along Vuna and Vatuwiri, and yesterday received word of the discovery from officers in Savusavu.
