Pornographic material was found on the Tertiary Scholarship and Loans website after it was hacked two weeks ago.
TSLB Board Chairman, Dixon Seeto says that they are currently working with their hosts to identify the source of the hacking, which includes seeking assistance from Google.
Seeto says that once critical information is found, they will consider filing a complaint with the authorities.
He explains that if people use the URL of the website, they can avoid viewing the unwanted content.
Seeto confirms that TSLB is working with a reputable IT company which will design and implement a new website which will have the necessary security features, such as a very robust firewall, anti-virus software and a login portal.
He says that students can communicate with them through their Facebook page and if the need arises, TSLB will advertise necessary information.
Seeto says that they are doing all they can so that this does not happen again as it very inconvenient for the people who use the website, especially the students.
