Police are yet to charge the taxi driver who allegedly murdered his landlord in Tomuka, Lautoka on Monday afternoon.
The suspect allegedly locked the woman inside her bedroom before setting the double storey house on fire and killed her two dogs as well.
Police had earlier said the man attacked the woman with a cane knife.
