Police trying to identify owner of  Ra marijuana farm

A farmer which Police had been tracking for his alleged involvement in drug related activities has been arrested in Savusavu.

The 40-year-old man was allegedly found with more than a dozen sachets of dried leaves believed to be marijuana. Police had acted on information received from the public.

In a separate case, a team of Police officers are trying to identify the owner of a farm in Ra where more than 20 marijuana plants were found yesterday.

There were four other separate arrests in Nadi and Ba where people were allegedly found with sachets of marijuana.
