Police will soon question a man who allegedly murdered a 35-year-old farmer of Bilalevu settlement in Valley Road, Sigatoka at about 10 o’clock this morning.
The man allegedly struck the farmer with a cane knife.
He then fled the scene.
When asked by Fijivillage, Police Spokesperson, Ana Naisoro said that they now have the alleged attacker in custody.
The man is related to the victim.
Another relative had alerted the victim’s family about the incident.
The farmer was pronounced dead on arrival at the Sigatoka Hospital.
