Police to conduct mock search and rescue exercise at Suva Harbour tomorrow

People in Suva and the central business district need not to be worried tomorrow as Police will conduct a mock search and rescue exercise in the Suva Harbour tomorrow.

Police say the joint mock exercise will be conducted by various stakeholders from around 8am to 1pm.

Police say people can expect the movement of emergency services and law enforcement vehicles during this time, and are urged not to panic, as this is all part of the mock exercise.

They say traffic officers will also be deployed to ensure the smooth flow of traffic, as it will be a busy day for shoppers, and they will try to minimise disruptions as much as possible.
