Police still search for brothers who are believed to have drowned at Vuda Point on Friday

Police have continued their search for the two teenage brothers who are believed to have drowned at Vuda Point in Lautoka on Friday.

Police say that Tilak High School students, 17-year-old Shalvin Singh and 18-year-old Shivneel Singh were playing with their friends when the incident occurred.

They say that Shivneel was trying to get the ball from the water and when he struggled to surface, Shalvin came for his assistance where both of them are believed to have drowned.

Police has also confirmed that the Water Police Team and about 20 other officers are continuously searching for the boys since Friday.
