The Valelevu Police is pleading for the public's help to identify the victim of a road accident.

They say the victim allegedly crossed the road and all of a sudden was hit by a vehicle driven by a 31-year-old man last Wednesday near the Makoi bus stop.

The victim is in critical condition at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital and with the photos provided of his tattoos, they hope that someone will come forward to identify him.

Police are advising members of the public to call Crime Stoppers Fiji on 919 if they have any information.
