Police are searching for a man in his 40s who was swept away by strong currents whilst trying to cross the Wailoa River this morning.
The victim from Naqelewai Village, Naitasiri while returning from his farm with his brother allegedly tried to cross the Wailoa River and was swept away.
The incident occurred at around 10am.
