Police officers shouldn't be obstructing the media - Tudravu
Commisioner of Police, Rusiate Tudravu

Commisioner of Police, Rusiate Tudravu has strongly stated that police officers should not be obstructing the work of the media.

This is after members of the media going to cover the 5 suspended police officers charged with their alleged involvement in an assault and extortion case against a Nasinu businessman last week were locked out of court by a police officer.

Tudravu has directed the ACP Operations to look into the conduct of the officers on duty.

The COMPOL states that they are open and transparent, and this applies in this situation when any officer is produced in court.
