Police officers provide lunch for over 1,000 students in Ra

Police officers of Rakiraki provided more than 1,000 students of Rakiraki District with their lunch yesterday.

This was made possible through the free lunch program initiative led by the Officer in Charge in the Ra Division, Acting Assistant Superintendent of Police, Pramesh Ram.

The group of officers believe people need to work together during these trying times and everyone has to be cared for in the spirit of Veilomani especially our future generations.

The Head Teacher of Penang Sangam Primary School, Richard Kumar thanked the officers for taking out their time in assisting them.
