A senior Police officer will appear in the Suva Magistrate Court today charged with one count of assault causing actual bodily harm.
This is following an investigation conducted by Internal Affairs Unit.
He is alleged to have used force by striking a man who tried to stop a brawl at Reservoir Road in Tamavua last month.
