Police nab 4 juveniles allegedly involved in $20,000 theft
Quick action by police has resulted in four juveniles being arrested yesterday afternoon for allegedly breaking into a car to take $20,000 at Wailada, Lami.

According to police the money was that of a company and kept inside the car however, the doors were not locked. 

With the money the youths then allegedly went on a shopping spree in Suva but were caught by police an hour later.

A 12 and 14-year-old are alleged to have stolen the money from inside the vehicle which was parked unattended. 

The cash was found wrapped in a plastic bag inside one of the compartments.

The two were later joined by the other youths aged 15 and 18-year-old before they proceeded to spend the money in Suva.

Around $19,500 was recovered.

Police are interviewing the youths in the presence of their parents and no charges have been laid so far.
