Police investigating 2 separate cases of sacrilege

Police are investigating two separate cases of sacrilege in Nausori and Sigatoka.

They say the first report was received at the Nausori Police Station, whereby a temple in Korociriciri, Nausori was allegedly broken into on the 5th of April,

Police say there was money stolen and the perpetrator had damaged the storage room door as well.

They also say in the second case, Sigatoka Police are investigating the matter where an unknown person stole two tabua’s worth $600 from a church in Komave.

Investigations into both cases continue.
