Following two police vehicle accidents yesterday and today, Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations Livai Driu says the incidents will impact service delivery.

ACPO Driu confirmed that Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu has ordered a thorough investigation into the incidents that occurred in Nadi yesterday and Laqere this morning.

He says internal investigations will review supervision and authorization for vehicle movements, in line with the Commissioner’s efforts to improve the Fiji Police Force's operations.

He says vehicles are an important asset to daily operations, and when one or two are grounded due to accidents, it impacts service delivery.

ACP Driu emphasized that the Fiji Police Force values honesty in official duties, with strict adherence to internal systems and processes serving as checks to prevent abuse and improve operational efficiency.
