Police have erected checkpoints in Laqere and Dokanaisuva causing a huge traffic along the Suva-Nausori corridor this afternoon.
We have received calls from motorists with some saying the traffic has built up right to RB Centrepoint along Kings Road.
Divisional Police Commander Southern SSP Sakeo Ganivatu confirms that the checkpoints were erected after a car was stolen in Raiwaqa this afternoon.
He says they have set up the checkpoints in those areas as the vehicle was spotted in the Nasinu area.
