Police have confirmed they will be conducting a post mortem examination to determine the cause of death of an 8-year-old boy who allegedly committed suicide last Friday.
The matter was reported to Police by health officials from the Nadi Hospital after the boy was brought to the hospital.
According to Police, the boy was playing with his brothers and other children and was asked to go inside to have his bath and get ready for dinner.
After some time the relative looking after the children could not find the boy and went to look for him.
Police say moments later the relative heard the boy's brothers calling for help and rushed to where they were.
They found the boy and rushed him to the Nadi Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
