Police clarify no USP students were taken in yesterday

Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro says there were no University of the South Pacific students that were taken in yesterday.

There was a social media post widely shared yesterday saying that “Fiji Police have taken unknown number of University of the South Pacific students into custody over Facebook remarks on corruption report into the regional body”

Naisoro says they have always reiterated for people to be cautious about what is posted on social media and not be easily swayed by everything that is online unless it's from credible sources.
