Police arrest man allegedly seen entering a compound in Nausori

Quick response from police resulted in the arrest of a man in his 20s who was allegedly seen entering a compound opposite a supermarket complex in Nausori.

The alleged incident occurred around 1 this morning.

Officers from the Nausori Police Station were deployed to the scene who found the suspect and took him into custody.

Chief Operations Officer, ACP Abdul Khan has acknowledged the sharing of information which resulted in the arrest.

Khan says crime prevention is everyone's responsibility and by speaking up, we are able to reduce crimes together by showing a united front against all forms of illegal activities.
