Police and RFMF officers stop major brawl at Mead Rd Housing

60 people in custody

60 people were taken into Police with the assistance of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces officers after they managed to control a brawl at Mead Road Housing in Nabua yesterday.

There are reports by eyewitnesses that men and youths from Sukanaivalu Road and others from other areas came to Mead Road Housing and stoned a number of houses and some people.

This also resulted in a brawl involving the men and youths from Mead Road Housing and Sukanaivalu Road.

Police spokesperson, Ana Naisoro confirms Police were assisted by the RFMF following receipt of the report.
