Police Mobile Command Unit now in Vatuwaqa

Police are now increasing their presence in the Vatuwaqa area through the Mobile Command Unit which has been stationed along Daya Street.

The Mobile Command Unit has live CCTV cameras hooked up to the National Command Centre.

Police-Special-Response-Unit

It is manned by the Police Special Response Unit and was previously stationed along Mead Road in Nabua and near Jittu Estate.

Police have moved it to the Vatuwaqa area to assist in operations there.

The Southern Division Community Policing teams will also be conducting house to house visitations in a bid to improve crime prevention initiatives in the area.
