Police Commissioner Sitiveni Qiliho and the Police Command Group passed their second quarter Required Fitness Level Test this morning.

As part of the Required Fitness Level Test, officers have to complete a 2.4 kilometres run with a set time limit and do a required number of sit ups, push ups and chin ups.

There are different time limits for men and women based on age groups.

Qiliho has previously stated his concern with the health and the level of fitness for some Police officers particularly with the high number of deaths of Police officers succumbing to Non-Communicable Diseases.

The Police Commissioner has even put on record that he is willing to resign if he does not meet the Fiji Police Force Fitness Requirements.
