Planned water shutdown for parts of Central Division
People have been urged to prepare themselves in advance and store water as the Water Authority of Fiji has planned a water shutdown from 7am this Saturday till late Sunday to Monday morning for parts of the Central Division.

The General Manager Operations, Taito Delana said upgrading work on the Waila Treatment plant will start at 7am and works are scheduled for up to 10 hours.

He said once works are completed, a further 24 hours will be required to replenish the reservoirs and during this time water will be shut down in all areas in Nausori, Tailevu, the Rewa delta, Nasinu and parts of Suva.
