Pineapple farmer plans to buy groceries for Christmas and back to school shopping from earnings

Luke Levu from Naselevu in Macuata, is making the most of the festive season by selling pineapples at the Labasa Market alongside his family where he earns over $200 daily.

Speaking to fijivillage News, Levu says he dedicated most of his time to the market, selling around 50 bundles of pineapples each day.

When asked about his plans for his earnings, Levu says he will spend it to buy groceries, so he can spend a memorable Christmas with his family and friends back in the village.

He is also planning to use his income for back-to-school shopping to support his children.

Through his hard work, Levu demonstrates the spirit of the festive season—providing for his loved ones while building a brighter future.
