Permanent Secretary for Agriculture Jitendra Singh has resigned.
According to a government statement, Singh has tendered his resignation for personal reasons.
The Public Service Commission has agreed to a request from Singh that he depart his office on the 31st of this month.
The PSC will announce the Acting Permanent Secretary for Agriculture in due course.
