People in parts of the Central Division are raising concerns as they have been without water supply since yesterday while the Water Authority of Fiji says this is because of low water level in the Tamavua and Tovata resevoirs.

Fijivilage has received complaints from people in Tamavua, Sakoca, Khalsa Road and Nadera.

A resident of Sakoca has told fijivillage that whatever water reserve they had they have used it and they are without water.

She says since this is Diwali weekend, they desperately need water for cleaning and their Pooja and there has been no water carting trucks.

Meanwhile, the Water Authority of Fiji says water carting trucks have been deployed from this morning.
