People turning up at the Uprising Music Festival to have fun and listen to music

People are starting to turn up in numbers at the Woodstock Uprising Music Festival 2022 at the Uprising Beach Resort to grove to local music and also get a taste of what the upcoming artists have to offer.

Elizabeth Waqavou who is attending the event for the first time with her cousin, says they are looking forward to watching VT1s and are planning to stay the whole night.

She says they also are at the music festival to meet new friend and have fun.

We met up with other people who are the festival to listen to music and have fun.

Some artists that will provide entertainment includes Ratu, Billy T and the Gang, Sam Stephens, Natalie Raikadroka, OUVACAST, Mike Reymond and Blue Vein, Alby Eastgate and Neko Blue, the Gang, the RelatiV and DJ Christonite.

The winner of the Domo Vou Talei Competition will be announced tonight but they are performing now.

Domo Vou Talei competition finalist, Sarah Blake is excited and thrilled to be part of this year’s Woodstock Uprising Music Festival where she will meet her favorite local singer, Nicky Beddoes.

Beddoes is one of the artists that will be entertaining the crowd at the Uprising Beach Resort while Blake will be performing her original song called “To Love and Be Loved” in the competition.

Blake grew up singing with her family and considers Soul/indie/RnB as her specialty genre.

The 26-year-old says the competition has given her confidence to start putting out more of her music.

Other artist that will provide entertainment includes Ratu, Billy T and the Gang, Sam Stephens, Natalie Raikadroka, OUVACAST, Mike Reymond and Blue Vein, Alby Eastgate and Neko Blue, the Gang, the RelatiV and DJ Christonite.

The Uprising Music Festival has started and will end at 1am tomorrow.
