People of Qauia to soon have their footbridge upgraded

The people of Qauia Settlement in Lami will soon have an upgraded footbridge as the upgrade worth $40,000 is well underway.

While visiting the community, Assistant Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister Sakiusa Tubuna highlighted the government’s progress for the benefit of his electorate of which Qauia is one.

Tubuna says the government’s decision to assist the people of Qauia upgrade their foot crossing has been welcomed with open arms and reciprocated with their utmost trust towards the coalition government.

Meanwhile, a resident, Kameli Ratuvou says they are witnessing a real change in their settlement.

Ratuvou says they thank the coalition government for assisting with material for the footbridge and they look forward to their continued collaboration.
