Support came from all walks of life for officers who are on the ground during the COVID-19 restriction period.

People came bringing refreshments and hearty meals cooked by families and society groups throughout the week.

US Ambassador Joseph Cella made a surprise visit to one of the checkpoints serving tea and donating refreshments.

Inspector Sue Douglas of the New Zealand Police also gave out food supplies at many checkpoints within the Suva area.

Meanwhile, it was a family affair as the Seeto family on behalf of the Reserve Bank of Fiji and Fiji Law Society Council delivered 200 food packs to some officers.

T.I.S.I Sangam Ra Branch Executives also handed over refreshments at the Rakiraki Police Station.

Various Church groups such as the Seventh Day Adventist from Kalabu visited some officers giving out food supplies.
