Peni Bulikiobo from Holy Cross wins second gold in 3,000 metres

Peni Bulikiobo has won his second gold medal for Holy Cross College from Taveuni in the open 3,000 metres in the 2024 Coca-Cola Games.

Samisoni Kaitu from Holy Cross College walked away with silver, while Makesh Nand from Ba Sanatan College settled for bronze.

Bulikiobo says he has taken part every year but never won any medals and this year he planned to win a medal for himself.

He says he started training in term 3 last year.

He dedicates his win to his school and also to his family for their continuous support.
