Chinese Ambassador to Fiji, Zhou Jian

Chinese Ambassador to Fiji, Zhou Jian says peace and respect is the key to creating development in developing countries like Fiji and other Pacific countries.

While speaking at the press briefing with the media, Jian says the blue print initiative is a good cooperation for development not only in Fiji but within the Pacific region also.

He says now it is time for us to do the work rather than continue with planning and nothing to be proven.

The Ambassador says we should join hands towards cooperation, peacekeeping and sustainability.

He adds that China is ready to work with Fiji to strengthen the Belt and Road cooperation, implement the global development initiative, and advance cooperation on infrastructure, agriculture, fisheries and new energy, thus contributing to the economic and social development in Fiji.
