Some good news is coming for workers in 10 employment sectors as they will definitely get pay increments soon.
Labour Minister Jone Usamate said the increases are just days away.
A 8 to 15 percent increase was earlier proposed for the 10 employment sectors including printing, wholesale and retail, hotel and catering, garment, sawmilling and logging, road transport, building, civil and electrical engineering, manufacturing, mining and quarrying and security services.
Usamate said all the submissions have been taken into account before the final decision was made.
However, he said he will not say whether the rates will be the same as the ones earlier proposed.
