Pavement rehabilitation works to start tonight at Khalsa Rd

Good news as the essential pavement rehabilitation works on Khalsa Road will begin at 8 tonight and will continue into the early hours of the morning.

The Fiji Roads Authority says these vital road improvement works will take place over the next four weeks until completion.

They say scheduled night hours for the repairs aims to minimise disruptions in traffic flow and ensure that people experience the least inconvenience.

They say these efforts are part of their ongoing commitment to enhancing road conditions for safer and smoother travel for all vehicles.

The FRA says temporary traffic management measures will be implemented during the rehabilitation works, and drivers should expect lane closures and reduced speed limits in the work zones.

They are urging drivers to exercise caution and allow extra travel time to navigate through the area safely.
