A 36‑year‑old pastor of Hindi Christian Fellowship in Nausori facing rape charges has been denied bail by the Nausori Magistrates Court.
Ravinesh Chand is charged with 3 counts of rape and 1 count each of indecent and sexual assault of a 15‑year‑old girl.
The alleged incidents happened last Thursday.
Chand’s case has been transferred to the Suva High Court and will be called on the 10th of April.
