Thousands of people living in parts of Lautoka are still facing low water pressure to no water this afternoon.

The Water Authority of Fiji has confirmed that the interruption in water supply is due to blocked intake from the heavy rain last night causing no inflow into to Nalau and Buabua reservoirs.

The WAF diving team is currently clearing debris that is causing the blockage.

Areas affected include Matawalu, Teidamu, Johnson, Drasa, Vitogo, Paiapi, Naviago, Drasa Dam Road, Qalitu, Lovu, Vatamai, Buabua, Naikabula, Koroipita, Lovu hart and Lovu sea side.

Call 5777 if you need a water carting truck to come to your area.
