PSRU Mobile Command Post back in Mead Road in Nabua

The Police Special Response Unit Mobile Command Post is now back in Mead Road in Nabua following four weeks of beefing up visibility at Visako Circle in Nadera.

Police say the Mobile Unit is at locations based on operational needs and also in a bid to address concerns raised by members of the public.

It has live CCTV cameras hooked up from the area to the National Command Centre.

Mead Road in Nabua has had several reports of criminal activities in the past.

In January, two men were charged for their alleged involvement in a stabbing incident at Mead Road Housing.

Eroni Bale and Tevita Badogo were jointly charged with a count each of damaging property, criminal trespass, act intended to cause grievous harm, grievous harm and theft.

The two allegedly stormed into a flat and stabbed three people who were drinking grog.
