Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama is currently visiting Fijian troops serving in the Golan Heights.
Bainimarama decided to visit the Fijian personnel after attending the International Sugar Organization meeting in London.
The Prime Minister also met the soldiers who were earlier detained by the Al-Nusra group.
Bainimarama returns to the country later this week.
