Children need to focus on their goals and study hard in school in order to become successful in life.
Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka highlighted this during a church service at the Viseisei Methodist Church, where children received the holy communion ahead of the new school term that begins today.
The Church was packed to full capacity as throngs of people came out to attend the new month's service, usually observed in the Methodist calendar.
Rabuka urged the children to always listen and to respect their parents for this is the foundation of their success in life.
He also stressed that the People’s Coalition Government will continue to prioritise the education of children in Fiji.
The Prime Minister also presented his i’sevusevu to the Na Momo Levu Na Tui Vuda Ratu Kitione Eparama Tavaiqia and acknowledged the vanua's ongoing support over the years.
He also apologised on behalf of the government for the mistakes of the past and also assured the villagers that the Coalition Government is here to serve everyone.
