Prime Minister, Sitiveni Rabuka

The Commission of Inquiry report into the appointment of Barbara Malimali as FICAC Commissioner, was discussed between Prime Minister, Sitiveni Rabuka and President, Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu earlier this afternoon.

When asked on when the report will be made public, Rabuka says a statement will be out later today.

He says he read the full report, and it proved to him what he thought was happening, was actually happening.

Rabuka says he is just presenting his views to the President on the report and the recommendations, and what he suggests they should do as a government.

He says whatever is approved, he as Head of Cabinet will bring it out and that will be the role played by the government and what will happen.

Stay with us for developments.
