PM stresses importance of family at military parade
Prime Minister and Army Commander Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama has stressed to the members of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces the importance of looking after their family while doing their work.

This was part of the Prime Minister’s speech at the first parade and medal presentation ceremony of military officers at the Queen Elizabeth Barracks yesterday.

Commodore Bainimarama said that he has received complaints by army wives seeking help regarding family problems they faced.

He reminded members of the military that ‘family’ is one of the key aspects in their discussion that he hopes they will take a step forward to look after their family.

Commodore Bainimarama added that in January this year, many children were unfortunate to go to school but with the strategies set by the army, they have managed to send their children to school.
