Effective and efficient leadership is the key to any successful organisation, be it civil, disciplined or the public sector.
These are the comments of Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama while opening the Police Leadership symposium in Nasova.
Commodore Bainimarama told the officers that while talking to the Commissioner of Police Brigadier General Ioane Naivalura last week, he highlighted that he only has two issues with Fiji right now.
According to Bainimarama this is why he has asked to speak to the police officers in large numbers to address these concerns.
Commodore Bainimarama said with the constitution making process expected to start soon, everyone should ensure that the process is transparent.
The Police Leadership Symposium ends on Friday.
