PM on State visit to China while Gavoka is Acting PM

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka will begin his 10-day State visit to China from today.

He departed the country yesterday.

Fiji Government confirms Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism, Viliame Gavoka will be acting Prime Minister.

One of his first duties will be chairing today’s Cabinet meeting.

Gavoka will be acting Prime Minister until the 21st of August.
